Biographical / Historical
The Chapel Hymnal is the second book in a series of three hymnals inteded to cover the needs of the Church through the whole range of its public worship. It consists of hymns and tunes adapted for use in devotional meetings, and was prepared for those who prefer a smaller book for use in prayer meetings, young people's societies, and other social services. The Chapel Hymnal was compiled by the Committee of The Presbyterian Boarch of Publication and Sabbath-School Work.
