Edward Curtis print collection
Scope and Contents
This is a collection of 28 Edward Curtis reproduction prints from Christopher Cardozo Fine Art. They are 20 inches by 24 inches. The collection, printed in 2018, contains prints of images from 1899 to 1928. The images were created using a high-resolution scan from an original photogravure. The original photogravures used for printing were professionally conserved to restore the print to its original appearance and fidelity. The images are printed on 100% cotton paper using pigment-based inks. The paper is acid and lignin free to ensure archival stability. Each print has a generous border to protect the image area from handling and to allow for archival matting and framing.
