Historical Note
Janet Milloy Wilkinson and Alexander Malcolm Wilkinson, both born in Scotland, were married in 1869 in Ontario Canada. The couple moved to a homestead in North Dakota in 1882.This family bible was taken by Janet and Alexander's son William Angus to The Dalles, Oregon. The Wilkinson family became active members of the Dalles civic and business communities.
