This collection includes copies of speeches given by Campbell; Campaign and promotional material related to Campbell’s political career, Biographical material including newspaper clippings and publications covering Campbell’s work. Correspondence to Campbell; and Photographs collected by Campbell during his career as an Oregon State Representative and Speaker of the Oregon House of Representatives.

Biographical

Larry Campbell graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 1953 with a degree in Speech and Political Science. He has since served on the Board of Trustees and was given the Distinguished Alumni Award. He was elected to the Oregon House of Representatives in 1978 and retired in 1995. He was minority leader for eight years, and finished as Speaker of the House for his last four. After his retirement, he founded the Oregon Victory PAC.
