A collection of printed notes. The first paperclipped bundle is titled "Notes on The Learning Room. (November 30-December 2, 2008)" The second paperclipped bundle is titled "Last Scene of Who Goes with Furgus (7/24/08)." The third paperclipped bundle is titled "Outline (9/25/08) but has a note dated from 8/21/10 that reads: "Quite different from the way the book has gone in chs 1-13. Maybe some of the suggestions about details should find their way in." This outline encompasses chapters 1 through 9. The fourth paperclipped bundle begins where the last outline left off and is titled "THE LEARNING ROOM (Outline of Chapter 9 to the end). It is dated March of 2010. The fifth paperclipped bundle is titled "Character Sketches" and has handwritten notes. The sixth paperclipped bundle is titled "Chronology (10/1/08)" with handwritten notes. The folder also includes a page titled "Time Line for Shelter Island Novel: May-September 2004," and 16 pages (numbered) of notes on various aspects of the novel. This document is titled "Notes on New Novel: How to Tell the Story of the Autistic Little Boy." At the top of the first page a handwritten note reads: "8/22/2010 Important notes: Reread while drafting chs. 14 - "
