Don Baker Papers
This collection includes a series of twenty-two letters from James Townsend, a WWII conscientious objector interned at the Cascade Locks (Oregon) Civilian Public Service Camp, to Don Baker, a C.O. who had been sentenced to prison at McNeil Island, Washington. The letters written from 1944 to 1945 cover a range of topics including activities at the Cascade Locks camp and philosophical discussions of pacifism.
Henry and Mary Blocher Collection
This collection includes photographs of World War II Civilian Public Service (CPS) camps, including camps 21 (Cascade Locks, OR), 51 (Ft. Steilacoom, WA), and 95 (Buckley, WA). Most photographs were taken by Henry Blocher. The collection also includes Henry Blocher's CPS correspondence from 1942-1946, as well as his collected publications and materiel related to CPS and pacifism.

Deale (Henry Vail) Papers
The Papers of Henry Vail Deale include correspondence, primarily to Jane Louise Niehaus (1942-1944) from various World War II Civilian Public Service camps. The collection also includes correspondence with Deale's parents, his daughter, and Grinnell College. Other materials in the collection include photographs, pamphlets on peace and pacifism, and CPS camp brochures.
Manche Langley Harvey Collection
Harvey was a pacifist and an actress who lived at Civilian Public Service Camp 56, at Waldport, Oregon during World War II. This collection includes original recordings and a transcript of an oral history interview about Harvey's life and experiences in CPS, as well supporting materials including photographs and an MA thesis written by the interviewer.
